Our classes are taught by our specialist teacher Matthew McDowell who is an examiner for the AQA exam board and is on the Examining Panel for LAMDA where his role includes examining internationally as well as delivering Workshops for both the Performance and Communication Specifications.

Matthew will individually guide each student to select the particular grade they would like to work towards. Within class there will be a mixture of group and one on one study.

LAMDA exams count towards the Duke of Edinburgh Award, and some exams earn you UCAS points and every learner receives a certificate for a passed exam.

This class not only prepares students for LAMDA graded examinations, it is a creative drama class teaching core performance techniques through text, scripts and poetry.

This class develops skills including: Public speaking, Engaging an audience, Character interpretation, Script analysis, Improvisation & Devising.
