CONGRATULATIONS AND CELEBRATIONS!!!

Summer at MSAOD has been full of exciting things for our students. We have some exceptional dancers here and felt that we needed to let you know how proud we are of you all!! So we have dedicated the November Blog to you!
Firstly, we want to say a huge congratulations to all students who took their exams back in June this year. They had been delayed 3 times due to Covid, but we have seen a 100% pass rate this year which is absolutely incredible! We are so proud of you all!
The next congratulations must go to our girls Polly and Amber, who appeared in a production of Annie at The Brook Theatre in Chatham from 29th-31st October. We are so very proud of you both.
A congratulations has to go to all of our Seniors who performed at Chance 2 Dance at The Stag Theatre in Sevenoaks on 5th July. This was our first time back in a theatre since lockdown and these performances proved to be such an emotional event. We are proud of every one of you! A massive well done to everyone who took part in our Summer Showcase! This was streamed online, and as much as we enjoyed filming the performances, we cannot wait until we are back onstage where we belong! All the children performed beautifully and we are in awe of how well you adapted to a new way of performing. It is something we will certainly never forget!
Congratulations go to Cassie and Emily for performing Swan Lake with the English Youth Ballet at The Churchill Theatre on 28th and 29th August. Another performance that was delayed due to Covid and a long wait from your auditions back in February 2020! The performance was beautiful and elegant. This is an amazing achievement as it is very hard to be chosen for the EYB.
We also want to wish good luck to Kira, who is performing in the Nutcracker with the English Youth Ballet on Friday 19th and Saturday 20th November at The Hawley Theatre in Surrey. A brilliant achievement from your audition so the best of luck to you in the performances.
Congratulations to Courteney Hipwell who will once again be sailing around Dubai on Costa Firenze as a professional dancer with Costa Cruises. An amazing experience and great opportunity!
Very exciting news that our very own Cassie has been cast in a TV advert which hopefully will air after Christmas. Cassie shot the advert a week ago and is one of our pupils who is a member of MJK Casting Agency. We can't wait to see you on the TV Cassie.
Our very own Miss Ella has been working at Thorpe Park over the Halloween period during fright nights as a performer. Maybe some of you have seen her there? Well done on your first professional contract Miss Ella.
'We're off to Disney!' I am so proud that 28 MSAOD dancers have been accepted to perform a 20 minute performance at The Videopolis at Disneyland Paris in August 2022. Following a successful video audition we are looking forward to preparing a spectacular performance in the heart of Disneyland. We can't wait to see you Mickey & Minnie.

This agency works with a small number of dancers to work in TV, Film and Stage productions. We will be sending an email out to you all with details on how to apply and who to contact should you have any queries so keep a look out for more info!
